Welcome to the Rosedale Primary Website
We would like to welcome all families to Rosedale Primary School and hope that this will be the start of a happy and fruitful association with the school.
Rosedale Primary School was built in 1865 and we have a proud history of providing effective educational programs for all students. The current school has been at its present site since 1989, providing nine classrooms, library, art room, canteen and a modern administration block. The site includes a sporting complex and spacious grounds with a wide variety of outdoor activities.
The purpose of Rosedale Primary School is to foster happy, socially well-adjusted children, who confidently develop to the best of their ability, in a caring and engaging atmosphere.
The values which form the basis of our actions are:
Care and Compassion:
care for self and others.
Doing Your Best: pursue personal excellence in all endeavours
Fair Go: ensure that all people are treated fairly
Freedom: enjoy the right to make choices free from unnecessary interferences or control, and stand up for the rights of others
Honesty and Trustworthiness: be honest, sincere and seek the truth, and ensure consistency between words and deeds
Respect: treat others with consideration and regard, respect another person’s point of view
Responsibility:

With
an extremely caring and conscientious staff and modern facilities, we
offer an outstanding service in primary education.
Co-operation between schools and families is essential and we ask that
you share in the education of your child and become part of our school
community. As Principal, my door is always open to parents wishing to
discuss their child’s progress or anything at all related to the
school. I welcome and encourage you to become involved
as this is the best way to learn about schooling today.
